SciFi Wire has an interview with Catherine Hardwicke, where she talks extensively about the stunts in the movie. MTV also has a great interview with the director here:

Hardwicke: I think that's fascinating, though. Yeah, I think that would be awesome. Actually, I have to say one thing: On the DVD, I shot one little tiny scene that is from "Midnight Sun," "Dark High Noon" [edit by Clair de Lune] and you're gonna see it on the deleted scenes. Nobody knows that yet.

MTV: Wow! Can you give us a little clue about what the scene is?

Hardwicke: [Laughs.] No, I can't.
