News Round Up: 22 April 2009
So sorry, folks, for the lack of updates. We're gonna have to do a bit of catchin' up with the news today.
First off, ET has been giving sneak previews of their Thursday New Moon special up on ETOnline. From a glimpse at a half-naked, running Taylor, to interviews with both "Edward" and "Jacob". Hopefully the resulting feature will actually be worthwhile, and not just a few seconds of things-we-already-know. But anyway, here's the link to all of their sneak peek vids so have fun watching (and drooling.)
Meanwhile, fans have been doing their own "research". Here's one with pics of the cast supposedly after shooting the birthday party scene. [minamic: And can I just say I am lovin' that hair on our Jazzy!] The same fan also has pics of the outside of the green-screened pool set-up, supposedly for Bella's cliff-diving. TwilightGossip has as-close-as-they-can-get pics and vids of the new Cullen house.
Not everyone is happy about New Moon's presence in Vancouver, though, as per this letter sent to the Vancouver Sun. Twilight fans have expressed their rage about that, but, think about it objectively. She has a point. Besides, we can't expect everyone to like what we like, now, can we? :)
On to MTV: Check out their updated photos of the New Moon cast here and here! Emma Watson apparently calls dibs on predicting Rob's success. And Breaking Dawn in 2010? KStew having a Sigourney Weaver-type moment? Are you sure? [minamic: I am oddly reluctant about a BD movie, you can tell.]
EW.com, however, reports that there isn't anything definite about a Breaking Dawn movie. (Yet?)
Film.com surmises about Robert Pattinson's "sex symbol" future in showbiz, as opposed to Daniel Radcliffe's "icon status". A comparison to Johnny Depp! Agree? Disagree?
Bravo TV has also released its A List Award winners, and RPattz gets the Break Out Award. Congratulations Rob! And congratulations to all the Rob fangirls who voted. His success is our success, yes? [minamic: Too bad he doesn't really belong to us. :P I kid.]
This next link is for the KStew fans out there: an interview by the Sydney Morning Herald, where she is portrayed as mature, down-to-earth, and very much unlike her Hollywood peers.
Lastly, for anyone wanting to have a Twilight-themed birthday, slumber, anniversary or just-for-the-heck-of-it party, here's a really cool blog with a few tips for planning one, complete with decor, party favors, and food and drink suggestions! [Thanks to Sheri for sending us the link to this!]
Edit: This just in: USA Today gives us a glimpse of the Wolf Pack! [minamic: Oh Mabs, they really are the equivalent of one Cam Gigandet. XD] On pic from L to R: Alex Meraz (Paul), Chaske Spencer (Sam), Bronson Pelletier (Jared), and Kiowa Gordon (Embry). I'm assuming that's the pack or tribe emblem tattooed on their right biceps.

WOLF PACK! *squee*
I wonder why they didn't include Quil and/or Jacob. After all, it is the wolf pack.
I guess they're saving the best for last. ^_^
Okay, I almost fell out of my chair. That pic is awesome. @_@
Re: Robert being compared to Johnny Depp... Rob has a long way to go, that's all I can say. But he's gonna get there if makes the right decisions. :)
MINAMIC: Thanks for posting the news! I'm still running around the office all day. @_@
I must say, Those bods are huge! I wonder if Jacob's is of the same size already. He was quite 'small' during Twilight.
That picture is too dark. That's all I'm going to say.
Clair de Lune & Ronald... Love your reactions. LOL!
Anyway, the picture is indeed jaw-dropping! A six-packed wolf pack! XD
*drool*
to give them credit, from the pic, they're equivalent to TWO Cam Gigandets hehehe
