- Kristen Stewart's Adventureland co-star, Ryan Reynolds, says he loves Twilight. While he may be married to the gorgeous Scarlett Johansson, he says he might just think of turning gay... for Rob! "Oh my God are you kidding me? Robert Pattinson in a word: dreamy." When asked if he would like to work with Rob in the future, he adds, "Sure! Look- I'm not gay, but I'm thinking about it." LOL. E! Online predicts the Rob and Kristen romance rumours are about to start again now that New Moon has started filming. Some Twilight cast members weigh in on the issue. Thanks to Mary Grace for the link.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Summit Entertainment is looking to cast Rob in a new film they are producing entitled Memoirs. The film "tells of two lovers whose newfound relationship is threatened as they struggle to deal with family tragedies."

This one made me teary-eyed. The U.S. Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) hosted an event with Peter Facinelli at the Ft. Lewis Post Exchange to celebrate the release of the Twilight DVD with U.S. soldiers and their families. To accommodate the thousands of fans who turned up to see him, he signed autographs, talked to people, shook every soldier's hand in the line, and took photos for 16.5 hours straight. @_@ The event was supposed to last only 2 hours, but Peter insisted on accommodating everyone to show his appreciation to the soldiers. NewMoonMovie.org reports that filming is now underway at the location for Jacob's house. In other filming news, the Eagle Pictures (Italian distributor) website is dispelling the rumours that the film will shoot on location at Montepulciano on May 25-30.

The Twilight Lexicon learned that Michael Welch (Mike Newton) will be appearing in an upcoming episode of C.S.I.

For Pinoy fans in the UK, there's the Eternal Twilight convention in February 2009. Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, and Taylor Lautner are scheduled to appear. For more information, check the Official Website.

For those in the US, Creation Entertainment is organizing the Salute to Twilight Convention on February 20-22, 2009 in San Francisco. Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene will be the special guests for this event. There's also the Salute to Twilight at Grand Slam on May 3, 2009 in Los Angeles. Cam Gigandet, who portrays James in the upcoming Twilight movie, is on this week’s Twilight Tuesday on MTV. He shares how he got into acting, his previous works, his Twilight audition, and his take on portraying the sinister James. He also goes into detail on how he and Robert Pattinson got covered in chicken, honey, Swiss cheese (so just imagine that while watching the movie) during their fight scene.

As we've reported before, Perry Farrell (formerly of Jane's Addiction) is contributing a song to the Twilight movie soundtrack. MTV reveals more details on the song, entitled Go All the Way. In a statement by Farrell, this song "conjures up that adolescent feeling when a young man, who has been pursuing a girl he really likes, finally gets her. It's about the intense emotions when they go all the way."

Nickelodeon's Lily Collins has posted about her experiences coming home from work and finding out InStyle Magazine is doing a photoshoot with the cast of Twilight in her backyard.

BAE reports that Michael Welch has posted a video of himself teaching kids how to take care of the environment. Mike has been actively involved with Kids for a Cause since 1999.

To take a short break from our daily dose of vampire news, Portrait Magazine posted an interview with Michael Welch, who's playing Mike Newton in the upcoming Twilight film. Welch talks about his audition (he initially auditioned for the role of Edward!), experiences on the set, and other tidbits about himself. This is also featured in the September 2008 issue of the magazine.
