"The Twilight Saga: New Moon" Local DVD is now available in most record bars nationwide. We're not sure as to why the release was earlier than the March 25 release that Pioneer Films has informed us, but hey, at least it was earlier! And based on the comments of those who have purchased the DVD, it seems that all the reported features are in there and of good quality.

CNN talked with Chris Weitz and Nikki Reed on their favorite scenes in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Reed's experiences with the Twilight fandom. Check out the interview below:



Also, Nikki Reed shared with People Magazine her difficulties while doing the stunts for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

Komo got to interview Melissa Rosenberg about her experience as a screenwriter for the three movies in the Twilight franchise and working on her adaptation for Breaking Dawn. She also elaborated in this article in The Seattle Times on working with the different Twilight directors and with Stephenie Meyer.

ABC News Radio posted this video of Peter Facinelli talking about what we can expect from The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, working with the younger cast, and which director he would like to work with in Breaking Dawn.

Cameron Bright, who plays the role of Alec, comments on their unique portrayal of the Volturi, and vampires in general, in the Twilight franchise (c/o MetroNews).

Now from New Moon to Breaking Dawn news, Entertainment Weekly has some leads on the possible directors that might take the helm for the final movie. Moreover, Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning talked about the major plot points that will be considered in the last movie.

In celebration of Lykke Li's birthday, the music video for Possibility has been released. This song is part of the The Twilight Saga: New Moon Official Soundtrack.

Promotions for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse are definitely kicking into high gear with the debut of the first trailer last week. Check out Kristen Stewart's thoughts on the trailer via Cinematical. Furthermore, Summit Entertainment has finally launched the official site for the movie, so check it out in the following weeks for upcoming videos and other features.

The DVD for the The Twilight Saga: New Moon is set to be released locally next week. To further anticipate the release, the Twilight Lexicon released a video of the TV spot featuring the love triangle among the leads. Another video has also been released (below) which is the sneak-peek for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which we believe is the same footage contained in Disc 1 of the local DVD version.

UPDATE 2 (Feb 24): Pioneer finally sent us the special features list for the New Moon DVD but we have been asked to wait for their official press release before posting. However, we can tell you that we are very happy about what's included, and we feel that this local release is a very good buy if you can't afford a Region 1. We hope that those who got "burned" by the Twilight DVD fiasco will reconsider buying NM locally, since this is a different manufacturer/distributor. [CdL]

Before anything else, let's discuss local Twi-news.

We asked Pioneer and they informed us that the DVD of New Moon is going to be released on March 20. The DVD will have bonus features but we have no specific details as of yet or if there are going to be promos attached to the release. Don't worry. We'll post them up once we do get them!

Now, as for the Eclipse trailer being attached to Remember Me (which, by the way, will be out March 12! Saw a poster of it up on Rockwell), it might not be possible since the distributors don't have the material yet. We're sure to get a glimpse of it online when it's out in the U.S. though, so no biggie? (And I'm sure the trailer will only be a bonus. After all, you'll be there to watch the gorgeousness that is RPattz, right? Hehe.)

Congratulations to Kristen Stewart for winning both the Orange Rising Star Award at the BAFTAs and Elle's Woman of the Year!

Twilight co-stars who attended the BAFTAs included Jamie Campbell-Bower, Anna Kendrick, and Robert Pattinson. Anna was nominated for supporting actress for Up in the Air. RPattz presented the BAFTA for Original Screenplay. Videos can be seen on the Twilight Examiner.

Back in the U.S., fellow Twilight cast Taylor Lautner is nominated for a Young Artist award.

Belated Happy Chinese New Year everyone! (And, ok, for those of you who celebrate, belated happy hearts day, too!)

If you haven't been on Twitter, you missed the excitement that was "Eclipse stills" popping up last weekend. (Robsten! Meadow scene! Hot kiss! LEG HITCH!!!) Unfortunately, we suspect they have been leaks--one minute they were up on the sites and then they were pulled down, plus David Slade just made some blank tweets, which may or may not be connected to that but who knows? *gulps*--which is why we won't be sharing them here. The powers-that-be have determined that it is too early for the Twilighters to rejoice. After all, those scenes might not even make the cut! (Noooo! LEG HITCH $%#@&!!!) But I'm sure scraps of the stills are floating, somewhere, out there, on the internet. So, next time, mind our Twitter board down there for the random squeeing. Hehe.

Anyhoooooo... news.

While we're waiting for details on the local New Moon DVD and for those of you who want one of the versions they make State-side, TwilighterzAnonymous has compiled a list of the others that will be coming out in the US and UK. They've got all kinds of nifty things packaged, too. Borders has the wolf pack and Cullen crests on a medallion. Barnes and Noble will have a free bag clip. Best Buy will have a cellphone skin. Target's has a 3rd disk of special features and a film cell. Walmart's Ultimate Fan Edition will be the only one in the US that will have a 7-minute sneak peek at Eclipse. What else have we missed?

Kristen Stewart and Anna Kendrick looking very pretty and showing the world that girls rock on Vanity Fair's Hollywood Issue.

And Robert Pattinson's somewhat controversial feature and photoshoot with Details magazine. Pictures you find may not be NSFW or folks-under-18, but otherwise, the interview is cool. We see Rob being candid, or at least, more candid than usual without crossing boundaries. A summary of it can be found here, although that article is more a chastisement of John Mayer than anything.
