First off, Happy Birthday Bella Swan-Cullen!!!

The second full-length trailer of New Moon was reportedly shown in cinemas prior to the screening of Sorority Row, which is another movie from Summit Entertainment, and some fans have already uploaded it on video streaming sites. So if you've watched it, tell us what you think about it! An extended version of this trailer is the one to be premiering in the VMAs as reported by MTV.

Summit Entertainment has announced that it has acquired the rights to the Twilight in Forks: The Saga of the Real Town documentary and will be included in the New Moon DVD. Read the press release c/o Twilight Lexicon.

In a previous post, we reported that NECA is coming up with an Edward and Bella action figure set which is due out on May 2009. There are now pictures from a recent Toy Fair of an Alice Cullen action figure, also due out this year. Please remember that this is just a prototype figure and some details may change when it's finally released.



HitFlix.com is confirming that Rob Pattinson will be a presenter at the 81st Academy Awards, which will be airing this coming Sunday in the U.S., and Monday morning (Feb. 23) in the Philippines via ABS-CBN.

If you're planning a trip to Japan sometime next month, better plan it around the time that Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will be there to promote Twilight. :)

Just for fun: A law student on Livejournal wanted to take a little break from studying for the Bar Exam and decided to list the crimes that the Cullens have committed.

You KNOW it could only have been a super super Twilight fanatic. Who else would steal the gas cap from "Bella's Pick-up" that sits in front of Forks Visitor Center?

As we said in Episode 1 of the Danag Podcast, judging from Tonner's Harry Potter line, the Twilight dolls would probably sell anywhere between $139.99 to $179.99.

[Cleolinda over at Livejournal pointed out that the Edward doll looks a lot like David Boreanaz (Angel in the Buffy series, click the link for a picture!). Man, I agree. Uh, yeah, wrong vampire, Robert Tonner.]

ADDENDUM:
The Bella Doll is wearing this ensemble (without jacket) [click for picture], which appeared in the outtakes seen in the end credits, and also in this outtake photo (whole ensemble). They may have also used this same image for Edward's costume, but they put on his trademark grey peacoat. Bella is also wearing the jacket here [click for picture].

The feature will be aired on ET's October 9th episode which will air 10PM of October 10 here in the Philippines on 2nd Avenue.

MTV Twilight Tuesday this week features the ultra-loveable Kellan Lutz. He spoke to MTV about how he auditioned for the film, his take on Emmett, his favorite Emmett scenes in the books, and some interesting anecdotes about the filming of Twilight.
